Thursday 9th - The Comedy Club with George Egg & Andrew O’Neill

Presented by: Span Arts

Brandishing a huge briefcase and a battery of ridiculous props, George Egg gives one of the most original, interesting, innovative, and sweetly whimsical comedy performances you are ever likely to see. Hailed as a Tommy Cooper for the twenty first century, Egg is a cross between alternative stand-up comedy and music hall variety that threatens to bring laughter tears to the toughest eyes.
Andrew O’Neill is a vegan, a musician, an amateur occultist, and a cross-dressing metalhead, but he’s mainly a comedian... with a straight-talking yet deviously warped take on everyday life that gets crowds cackling.
"One of the funniest comedians on the circuit at the moment... hitting new heights of comedic brilliance" (Time Out).
Compere Paul James, once described as what would happen if Tim Vine hadn’t found God, delivers a winning set that has the audience reeling from the first joke to the last. Plus cabaret seating and interval dining.
