Film on Sunday - SWEET COUNTRY

Set in the harsh landscapes of Australia’s Northern Territory in the 1920’s, we follow the journey of Sam, an Aboriginal farm worker, who shoots a white man in self-defence and is pursued across the arid landscape by a vengeful posse of white lawmen and ranchers. An Aussie western as stark, merciless and majestic as the Outback itself.
